more pics and an important question...

The new film from indie writer/director Andrew Dosunmu (Mother of George) which was formerly called Beat-Up Little Seagull will be debuting at the Sundance Film Festival. I've heard whispers that it's a somewhat challenging art film. For Pfans that will be exciting since La Pfeiffer doesn't make those. But that doesn't necessarily mean we'll be getting the media comeback we deserve for the one and only. We may need success for the more mainstream vehicles Wizard of Lies (on HBO with Robert De Niro as Bernie & Ruth Madoff) and Murder on the Orient Express (Pfeiffer is taking on the Lauren Bacall role) and Mother (from Darren Aronofsky) to really see that happen in 2017, but who knows?

Sundance promo synopsis:

Mild-mannered, sheltered Kyra, played with intensity by Michelle Pfeiffer, begins to spiral after the death of her mother. Long out of work, the deep-in-debt Kyra struggles to support herself. As she becomes increasingly desperate and isolated, longing for her mother, she launches a cryptic, last-ditch scheme to keep from being evicted. She also finds solace in another lonely soul, Doug (Kiefer Sutherland), from whom she initially tries to hide her plight, but Kyra slowly ropes him into her deception.

We don't yet know if Pfeiffer will be attending Sundance and she's always been hard to read when it comes to publicity and promotion.

What should we do to celebrate this multiple Pfeiffer year here at TFE?
