As we mentioned on the podcast we think the race for the win is between Kodi Smit-McPhee who has the largest role and the most acclaimed performance in the frontrunning film The Power of the Dog and Troy Kotsur who has a great "narrative" and is in the emotionally grabby sleeper hit CODA. And, as per usual in these charts, we love a half serious / half silly thought experiment so we're speculating how each one of them got nominated.
