| 4/5 Incorrectly guessing that Jodie Foster would boot Amanda Seyfried from contention. This if the first time since 1976 that the Globe winner hasn't been nominatd in this category. | ||||

| Who wasn't? It was a very tight volatile race with Helena Zengel (News of the World), Ellen Burstyn (Pieces of a Woman), Dominique Fishback (Judas and the Black Messiah) and Jodie Foster all having reason to hope for nominations at various points. Our preferred ballot looks different though. | ||||

| I'm torn between Olivia Colman and Youn Yuh-jung (removing Bakalova from the equation because she's a lead performer) and my vote goes to Youn Yuh-jung for an indelible multifaceted delight of a performance as a room-crashing fun grandmother suddenly out of her element but just going for it as a new purpose. | ||||
