I regret to inform you that I am typing this from the dentists chair (ouch) so I'm living inside a horror movie. What's happening in YOUR world and would it make for a good movie?

I have an unfortunate crush on the mother of my best friend who happens to have his own crush on me. I actually think a lot about making a movie out of that!
sad -- that does sound like a viable indie movie plot. Comedy or drama?
I just now got back from LFF screening of "The Artist" and honestly I'm in such a good mood I'd like to tap dance. Weinstein was there and it really does sound like he's going to push this one a hard as he can! Bejo and DuJardin were there as well and both quite gorgeous.
For someone like me who's never been to a film festival before everything is such a fun experience. That might make for a good mini-documentary for the amusement of the veterans...
I've spent the last four hours having (great) sex with a friend of mine much younger than me. I was in heaven, feeling myself caught in the middle of something between I Am Love, Chéri, Boogie Nights and, well, Shame. But I swear: I felt no shame at all.
i thought you'd comment on Pfeiffer's latest appeareance at the Elle's Women in Hollywood tribute and that even tthough she's probably 20 years older than them, she looks much better than Heigl and Aniston.
I just threw a hissy fit at someone in payroll. However, I'm not sure the dramatic intensity will sustain itself on the screen.
Some mopey indie movie about unrequited love that's watchability depends completely on whether the teen actors are any good at all.
Hmm I've been thinking about the Portuguese submission for the Foreign Film Oscar, JOSÉ AND PILAR.
I've seen it for the third time a few days ago and it only gets better. I'd say it gets what Pina doesn't. Pina is more exciting and enticing, with all the fantastic dance sequences and all, but José and Pilar has more heart and soul.
I don't think it has a decent shot of even making the shortlist but seriously you New Yorkers should watch the movie. It's premiering there soon and it will have a special screening at the MoMA:

They sure are campaigning it hard.
It won't make much of a movie, but I'll be watching West Side Story in honor of its 50th anniversary!
Something to consider for your next link round-up. A short story called "The Things", which reposits "The Thing" from the alien's POV.
glenn --- link?
ajnrules -- i MUST find the time.
jorge -- i'll try to see
tess & howard -- love it
ferdi -- four hours???? jesus
iggy -- i've been starting at the pictures but the dentist, you know. there wasn't time today. TOMORROW.
A little pet peeve...the star of "The Artist" is Jean Dujardin...and NOT "DuJardin."
I've just watched Trespass .. god that was a terrible movie, so not much going on to write a movie about.
