Poor Sasha Stone. She writes so well, but sometimes I worry about her. She can't be THIS emotionally invested forever without burning out, can she?
Oscarwatch/Awardsdaily used to be my first (and pretty much only) port of call when it came to the Oscars, but the past couple of years - and especially last year and this year - Sasha has seemed to have a real bitter agenda that has been really off-putting. She seems to have a chip on her shoulder every post she makes.
Don't get me wrong, personality is one of the most important things in blogging, but you have to show some enjoyment and fun. That's why I keep coming back to this blog :)
Somtimes, reading Sasha's writing is like watching those "moment of zen" clips at the end of The Daily Show.
But, like you, I'm not sure that warrants a blog post of its own. Entertaining read, though.
Why people are giving pries to Melissa McCarthy? I mean, Rose Byrne is a zillion times better!
Sasha Stone has "insights" that are more like dogmas.
Sasha Stone is probably the most unreadable Oscar blogger on the web. Does she really think she's in any kind of position to criticize David Denby for doing his job? That whole article is so offensive.
I am with all u guys on Stone. I never reads her articles however I do enjoy all the comments on that blog.
Why do some writers (like Kinzer and Blankenship) keep saying that Shame is "about" sex addiction. when that's really not the case?
Blankenship's reviews is embarrassing.
