How I Feel / How I Wish I Felt

As acted out by the infrequently employed Matthew Broderick...

How I Feel / How I Wish I FeltApologies that it's so slow going here for the past two days. I haven't been stung by a bee but I had an allergy attack that was so bad yesterday that I spent the day rubbing my eyes and trying to make out words on the screen through a cloud of eyedrops, fuzziness, tears and sneezing. I woke up with one of my eyes sealed shut this morning! I'd much rather be singing in the shower with not a care in the world.

Off to the pharmacy for heavy duty allergy meds -- anyone else suffering? I haven't had a problem like this since I was nine or ten. What the hell is in the air? -- after which posting will resume.

p.s. in the meantime, please note that I listened to your requests and have reinstalled the "comment du jour" to the new site's sidebar. I'll try to update daily. I've also updated the movie calendar (easiest way to view is clicking the "agenda" tab)

Feel better, Nat.

I haven't had my allergy for this year yet. I always get it from late March to mid May with red itchy eyes and runny nose so I dread the coming of spring already.

get well soon!

we need your input on the King's speech porn film issue, especially as Guy Lodge just quoted from your interview with Eve Stewart (hope i didn't get the name wrong). :)

Nathaniel, hope that allergy attack won't last too long. I think that has to be with your alimentation and your defenses so consider that. We want you well :)
I wish I could go to the beach, it's so fucking hot here and I'm working. Boring. Maybe some vacations in South America will help you to relax and be away from deseases.

I don't know if you knew this -I just did. The King's Speech set was previously the set for a gay porn movie. Here's the evidence:

Just trivia.

yes, Nathaniel, I know blogging is hard work! regardless of the level/purpose one is doing it for :)

I also tuned in last night (Europe time) and somehow didn't see it. I first saw it 10 hours ago on incontention. (wednesday morning, europe time).

Allergy season is terrible right now, but I'm more concerned with the sunlight bouncing off the thick fresh snow and giving me migraine auras. The big one better not hit on Oscar Sunday because I will rig up A Clockwork Orange set up to watch the show through the blinding pain.
