Celebrating the closing night of her acclaimed run in the play 33 Variations, Fonda shared several photos of celebrity attendees including Kathy Najimy, Forest Whitaker, Catherine Keener and this one...
"my favorite actor of all" eh? Fonda has good taste.
Now if only she'd get some good film projects and go for Oscar #3. Hey, maybe a co-starring role with The Bening? Why not?

She has a French movie with Geraldine Chaplin and Daniel Bruhl coming out! Crossing my fingers that it's good.
Are they making a film version of 33 Variations? I really love Beethoven's last huge piano work, so it will be great to see it on film...or on stage.....
Well, GEORGIA RULE was supposed to be a star vehicle to build momentum for another nomination for Jane Fonda (with a cast that had a recent Oscar nominee and the most promising - then - starlet of Hollywood) and we all know how well that turned out...
Perhaps in "The Grandkids Are All Right", the sequel to "The Kids Are All Right", Jane Fonda can play Annette Bening's estranged mother.
Favorite of all? Really? She must mean in terms of personality.
I hope she voted for her at the Oscars!
I saw it a few weeks ago. Fonda was excellent. I'm not really sure how they could turn this play into a film. If they did, they would use a lot in the translation.
Moises Kaufman plays don't really strike me as film-ready. Maybe they are. I never saw The Laramie Project.
Fonda & Bening forever
Do a film remake of "'Night, Mother" with The Bening and Fonda. Oscarz!!!!
Fonda's 8 different plastic surgeries really look good on her.
By mortal-human rather than movie-star standards, Fonda and Bening could easily pass for early 60s and early 40s respectively. They should organise a chat with the Weinsteins to get the latter to reconsider the potential blight on cinema they have committed by casting Streep and Roberts as Violet and Barbara Weston. Really just about any other A-level duo would be a better choice than Streep/Roberts for those roles, and Fonda/Bening would be among the strongest prospective combos.

I'm not sure she voted for Bening. I remember her writing how much she liked Michelle Williams in Blue Valentine. Really.
I see Fonda has done some work on her face :(
I've read a lot of Fonda's comments online and on Twitter. She tends to be very positive and enthusiastic online so I don't know if we can take her comment about Bening too literally.

Seeing the photo (before reading the text) I thought it was Annette Bening standing next to Carol Burnett. Yikes!
Wow. Jane is 21 years older than Annette.....but Annette still looks older than Jane.
