First and Last, Architect

first and last images and lines from movies. Here's the first image (after the credits) and the last from a Best Picture nominee.

Here's another clue.

first dialogue: "So how was it?" "Good." You're going to go ahead?"
last line of dialogue: "So long, architect."

Can you guess the movie? Click ahead to check your answer or give up.

Yep, Evan guessed it. It's THE TOWERING INFERNO with Steve McQueen, Faye Dunaway and Paul Newman (as the architect)

Damn, foiled. It IS "The Towering Inferno". I'd bet my life.

Definitely Towering Inferno. And I think I speak for all architects when I say that Paul Newman sets way too high of a bar for the public's perception of architects' attractiveness.
