Anne Hathaway, a 'Hotsy-Totsy Bitch From Jersey'

Last night on Conan O'Brien, Anne Hathaway decided she needed to react to all that Catwoman mania on the web, much of it not positive due to the Batgirl like motorcycle photos, and composed a rap.

This is 95% my favorite part

Don't act so hotsy-totsy bitch I know that you from Jersey.

The other 5% is where she admits that she's a needy ham (which I just realized is cut from the clip below). Conclusion: The Princess Diaries (2001) is a terrible movie but I'm so glad it exists and brought Anne Hathaway into our (film) world.

Here's the clip.

That blush at the end: adorable.

My name is Keegan and I'm an Anneaholic. LOVE HATHAWAY. However, her IMDB isn't exciting me, just Batman (where she'll be the best Catwoman ever) coming up? Annie needs to get working!

Oh my gosh. Best ever. The next Karmin. :D

She's got balls.

Not questioning her gender. She's fearless...you get it.

Happened to be at the same theater One Day premiered at a little over a week ago...saw Anne on the red carpet...she's so pretty and delicate.

I wonder how long she practiced that rap for? She always seems 'on' to me.

Yes! It's so funny that you put this here today because I also watched this some hours ago. I don't know why, I'm kind of annoyed by her charisma on screen ('Rachel Getting Married' and 'Brokeback Mountain' being the obvious, glorious exceptions) but when she gives interviews my face just lits up. She's an amazing person, a born entertainer and I loved that rap.

Plus: she's HOT.

I'm with Jorge - I'm somewhat annoyed by her ubiquity and don't get the excessive love, but damn if she isn't entertaining, especially on talk shows (we'll just forget the Oscars ever happened...oops), and I find myself liking her (or at least enjoying her) despite myself.

She's from Millburn FFS, it's not like she's a gangbanger from Newark.

This proves why Anne Hathaway is my favorite young actress in Hollyweird ( also the fact that she has a killer singing voice and she can dance ) . This wonderful lady is game for anything, and that is why she will be around for a long time, She is such a natural performer and chamer. You will never see Michelle Williams, Michelle Pfeffier, Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, , Helen Mirren, or Annette Bening pulling -off writing a clever rap song and delivering it ingeniously .

P.S. , I can't wait to see what she does with the Judy Garland biopic ( she did a credible impression of Judy on SNL. ) .

betty -- i wouldn't put anything past Helen Mirren. She's a firecracker.

Almost as good as Natalie Portman's rap haha. I've watched this so many times today though haha, it's too awesome. Love Anne.

And I echo you, Betty! I can't wait for this Judy Garland biopic...was just thinking about it earlier.

Love, love, love her!!!!

Really thought she was overlooked in all the Brokeback awards mania. Her scene on the telephone where she explains to Ennis what happened with the death of her husband Jack is one of the best fighting against true emotion scenes I've ever seen. It's still the reason that my husband and I can't agree as to whether the beating of Jack that you see on screen is really what happened to him or whether it's just an imagined idea of his death due to Ennis's gay fear and imagination. Her vocal delivery of Jack's tire death is just balanced enough to not let us know for sure what really happened.

Not even anne knows. She shot two diferent versions of that scene, and she says that up until today she doesnt know which one they ended up using.

I dont think her performance on BBM was Oscar worthy, and I LOVE that movie!

betty t. phlilp- Isn't the Judy Garland bio pic dead in the at the moment? There has been no news on it in years.

Just saw the video and saw the Jorge and Janice already took my comments. Anne just sort of irks me as an actress, although she seems charming enough in real life...and yet she always seems to come off sort of wily, not necessarily in a bad way, but more perceptive than you give her credit for - bordering on sly.

What makes me even more amused about this, though, is the veritable deluge of "info" being released about this movie. I mean, people it's a year from now - temper yourselves.
