I love JHud, but should have it been Beyonce singing that? She sang Etta James' At last at the Neighborhood Ball. It'd have been nice to come full circle.

Is America in the mood for sweet silliness like that?

Would've been great publicity for either Michelle Williams or Naomi Watts to recreate Monroe's Presidential serenade. Alas, it wasn't meant to be.

I would have loved for someone really boozy and campy to sing to him like a Liza or an Elaine Stritch. Washington is a little worse for the wear, Obama could use a conspiratory laugh with someone whose been around long enough to appreciate the humor in a trainwreck.
