Best in Show
At first I liked Uggie (The Artist) best but I'm starting to lean Arthur (Beginners). Less manic, more soulful!
God loves a terrier
yes he does
God loves a terrier
that's because
brown sturdy bright and true
they give their hearts to youGod didn't miss a stitch
be it dog or be it bitch
when he made the Norwich merrier
with his cute little 'derrier'
yes God loves a terrier!-"Best in Show"
And may 2012 be the year of the cat! They need a good cinematic year.

I thought the cat in Girl WIth the Dragon Tattoo was pretty awesome, actually. But yes. More cats please!
But Uggy was a hero who saved his master's life!
Actually, I liked both Uggy and Arthur, though I'm not usually a dog person.

Yes, more cats!
Paw-Paw.
'Nuff said.
It made me so happy to think about Best In Show again. Now all I hear is Catherine O'Hara singing her part in the song!
Bill -- same here! I am really emphatically a cat person but the dogs this year were just divine in the movies.
Beau -- PAWPAW (sniffle)
So they have to have risen pretty high up on the hierarchy of cute right?
I know it's from 2 years ago, but how does Arther compare to Dug (from Up)?
Hear hear for a good cat year! They're always portrayed as villains and I'm so over it. They're like the gays of the 70s. :(
That said, it was a glorious year for cute pups. Too bad they couldn't find a way to include Snowy from Tintin. He was a fierce bitch.
Pretty cute dogs! That was really Best-in -Show! Uggy and Arthur nailed it.

Dean -- the hierarchy of cute!!!! It must return. Let me think on it.
Team Arthur/Cosmo. Uggie did dated tricks while Arthur/Cosmo consistently had to perform like he could react to actors onscreen. That's a much higher degree of difficulty for the Beginners pooch and his handler.
However, were the puppies from Bridesmaids out of the country or something?
Red Dog, yo.
This is obviously the cutest post ever. Team Arthur/Cosmo although Uggie is pretty amazingly trained.
Bonus points to the first poster for mentioning the cat from Dragon Tattoo. I was in love and then subsequently crushed. Also, Paw-Paw! *single tear*
