A Celebrity Halloween
For the first time in its long long history New York City's Halloween Parade was cancelled. But some celebrity fav Halloween parties did go in in London and Hollywood. Here are a few photos.
Let's start with Chloe Moretz and Rose McGowan... primarily because I don't know what they're supposed to be: Is Chloe a crying vampire, a rock and roll devil ... or maybe she grabbed some rejected scraps from Colleen Atwood's costume trunks on the set of Dark Shadows; Is Rose a Christmas Rockette, a Babe in Toyland, or January Jones?
Help me out in the comments (and tell us what you wore on Halloween!). More celeb photos after the jump...
Adrian Grenier went minimalist with his samurai wear but the hair is a good touch. I love these mermaids -- Ariel is TV actress Alessandra Torresani with a Flounder purse -- so Cute!
And no Halloween is complete without Heidi Klum which might be one of the many reasons this Halloween didn't feel complete. Here are some of her costumes through the years. For most people those cat and raven costumes would be their best ever years but Heidi has enough money to go completely elaborate like this multi-armed shiva, the Transformer complete with working hydraulics and that creepy creepy anatomic number last year. Don't you love that even when she's naked she wears massive heels?
This year the supermodel intended to be Cleopatra -- she unveiled the costume but there was no party to go with it as Halloween on the East Coast was not so festive.

McGowan looks like Marlene Dietrich in 'Scarlet Empress' to me.
Adrien Grenier seems to take the same approach I do - grab a prop that happens to be at hand, do something with your hair/face to match it, and voila!
Oh, Chloe made your front page... Do you still claim you hate her, or don't you bother to anymore? Because I don't believe you anyway! ;)
Chloë Grace is dressed as Helena Bonham Carter's character Bellatrix from the Harry Potter movies.
Chloë always will be more terrifying in real life than any character she portrays on screen. Something just ain't right with that one.
Chloe seems to be the love child of the Crow and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.
Also, I go as a different Marlon Brando character every year (this year I was Johnny Strabler).
Love Heidi Klum's costumes- but must point out that she isn't dressed as Shive, but rather, Kali.
Chloe looks like Courtney Love after a particularly bad bender...
Care to explain your comment, Mareko?
I get what Mareko is saying.
Well perhaps you can explain it then since Mareko appears unwilling or unable.
