Twitter yes, it's true. Stevie Nicks, the white witch herself, to guest star on American Horror Story: Coven -- and yes, I'm aware I'm like forever behind in writing about that show which I'm loving. We'll try and catch up this week

Time Out interviews peerless stage star Mark Rylance

Today's Watch(es)
The extremely brief/insubstantial teaser for HBO's Looking starring Jonathan Groff.

I'm terrified of this show as someone who was deeply embarassed by Queer as Folk which is basically it's only precedent, right? But the director of Weekend has to count for something so I'm also hopeful. In addition to Groff the cast includes other (lesser-known) lookers like Rául Castillo, Tanner Cohen (Were the World Mine), O.T. FagbenieJustin Chao, and in at least one episode that adorably worried werewolf from Being Human.

And here's a Young Hollywood panel featuring Michael B Jordan, Miles Teller, Dane DeHaan, Greta Gerwig and Brie Larson (aka the ones who'll be dominating our movies for years to come)  at the AFI Fest talking about celebrity and social media...

Teller making fun of Jordan's selfies is priceless and Greta Gerwig's fan crush on Jessica Chastain? Adorbs.

Holy crap there is not a single bad choice among that Young Hollywood panel. I am getting no bad 'Studios are trying to make them happen so bad' vibes like I get when seeing 'Young Hollywood' in Vanity Fair.

As if we needed any more proof that Jessica Chastain's FB page is the greatest thing ever... Great is a fan as well!

"Opportunity! Let's retcon that shit and give it to Riva"

HA! love it :)

I hope I'm under the wrong impression, but it seems to me that Adéle is following the steps of Shame and it's only been discussed in the US regarding those sex scenes. It's so reductive.

I'm in an episode of Looking and it was pretty funny banter between the leads. Everyone was laughing, lots of improv and kind of a loose, off-the-cuff style. The camera was never on a tripod (I think)

That was great. Is the whole interview online?

I think Holly had a pretty good post-Oscar considering she's not the typical female lead. In my opinion, she lost track doing Saving Grace, but she'll recover fast.

I saw Living Out Loud theatrically. I don't belong in the we that failed Holly Hunter. I am sort of bored of the subject of Hollywood failing American actresses of a certain age. Their problem cuts three ways: keeping the Streep myth alive at the expense of all her peers, preferring foreign actresses to wow us with good material they're able to get from foreign filmmakers, giving young starlets Oscars before they establish themselves as substantial. Everyone loves to ask the same stupid questions of why. When then answers are simple and cold. People want change but not a price that's radical to the infrastructure.

Dear Lord I don't ask for much, but please please save me from Miles Teller dominating my movies for years to come. So much smarm...also ugh to that Blue Is The Warmest Color video...I hate having to pull out the queer lady card, but it is so annoying to hear how I'm supposed to be having sex. Talk about the gaze in those scenes sure, but all this talk in the lesbian community about the right and wrong way to have sex just screams of self-regulation and shame to me, and it totally grosses me out.

Dane has put on some pounds, and they suit him.

Found the full interview of AFI's Young Hollywood Panel:

http://graphics.latimes.com/vignette-young-hollywood/

People always talk about female friendships in Hollywood, but besides maybe Ben Affleck/Matt Damon or Tobey Maguire/Leonardo DiCaprio which both seem to be more childhood friends that have a lot of history, there aren't as many that seem as easy as these two up and comers. Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan are just adorable. Both of which are having great years. More please!

There's one part of the interview where Michael talks about his soap opera days, him and Miles reactions are pretty hilarious.

"The camera was never on a tripod (I think)"

This is never a good thing. NEVER. Tripods are a cinematographer's best friend, truly.

Also: just watched the video. Greta. Oh Greta. She's as wonderful as Jessica Chastain's facebook.

November 13, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterTB

Come on J-Law you are gorgeous , talented and a superstar, maybe just care a bit about where your Oscar is? Maybe she herself realizes she didn't deserve it :last year ;-)

November 13, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterRami

Rami, it was a joke. She said in another interview that she felt weird having it around her house so she gave it to her mother who took it to Kentucky. I think that's nice and I remember some actor saying recently he also gave his award (Emmy?) to his mother. I bet the mothers like to show the awards to all their friends. :P

Well, I guess the next logical thing is for Ryan Murphy to hire Holly Hunter for the next season of AHS so people would know how magnificent she is: )

November 13, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLars

Um , Greta, agreed completely re: Chastain's facebook page. I feel exactly the same way about how genuinely happy and generous Jessica shows us she is through her page.

CC my comment was said in jest , I am glad that Jennifer Lawrence doesn't seem to be so media trained still after all her success.

November 14, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterRami

I was watching Michael on All My Children. You could tell he was special.
