The "Critters" franchise needs more press, if only to remind us why a "Gremlins" reboot is a bad move. Franchising really can dilute the reputation of the original - and we wouldn't recall "Gremlins" so fondly if it had led to a "Gremlins 6: In Space, No One Can Hear You Gremlin".

But also I will totally defend "Critters 2". A top Easter movie, for sure.
