YouTube final X-Men Days of Future Past trailer, to spell out the plot though the notion of Professor X laughing in disbelief about time travel is unintentionally funny given the company he keeps: shapeshifters, psychics, blue skinned freaks, weather goddesses, people with laser eryes, fancy-skeletons berzerkers...

Variety the Tupac biopic via John Singleton is happening. Expect casting announcements soon. Wouldn't it be hilarious if Chadwick Boseman gets a third consecutive biopic? (no) WHO WOULD YOU WANT IN THE LEADING ROLE? And unknown or...

Geek Dad has lots of fun quotes from Anthony Mackie about superheroes and Captain America: The Winter Soldier including this delightful bit on getting in shape for it...
Fitness is a lifestyle, you have to eat a certain way... So you know, me and my homeboy Jack Daniels stopped talking. You know, no more pizza. Me and my girlfriend Häagen-Dazs broke up. She’s French; it was crazy.
And then I show up and you know, Chris looks like a Greek god. And I’m feeling good about myself, I’m like Spandex-ready, you know. And I show up and he’s like, Captain Tiny Ass. And I’m like, “Dude, how’d you get your ass that small?” Like this [GESTURES AS THOUGH SQUEEZING A SMALL BOTTOM], it’s that big – you know. And I’m man size, like I can lift the whole building. And I look at his butt and I’m like, “What did you do? What did you do to it?”
If only there was video!

Michael B. Jordan for Tupac. No other options necessary.
Michael B. Jordan or Anthony Mackie. Or maybe an unknown. But in Hollywood it feels like those two are practically unknown anyway.
Best Actress in a Play is going to be so competitive this year, between Audra, Cherry Jones and LaTanya Richardson Jackson (can't believe they didn't mention her!).
Well, whaddaya know. This all-too-soon revival of "A Raisin in the Sun" is not the disaster/disappointment that it had the potential to be (I read the reviews linked to the official website). Though there seems to be universal praise for the cast, that for Anika Noni Rose comes off as most enthusiastic. Audra is guaranteed to win a sixth (and possibly seventh) award eventually. Heck, she may go down as the most awarded performer in Tony history, but another so soon after her last? I dunno. Why hasn't she done a major film yet? Like, seriously.
BTDubs, Mackie's anecdote totally reminded me of the naughty thoughts I had about him and Jeremy Renner during the "Hurt Locker" hooplah.
@Troy - She has said she doesn't like acting in front of the camera all that well. I wish Spielberg would go ahead with his Porgy and Bess movie so she can get an Oscar nomination.
Michael B. Jordan popped into my head as soon as I saw that Tupac article. He would probably win an Oscar for this if the movie was good. Still pissed he didn't get an Oscar nom for Fruitvale Station (but also upset over the snubbing of Tom Hanks, Robert Redford and Oscar Isaac harumph--just too many great performances last year I guess).
I don't think The Wire has a clue about the Tony's. Outside of Audra, Estelle and Cranston, its anybody's game and there are a lot of people they failed to mention who have a good shot at a nomination. Franco, O'Dowd, Radcliffe and Quinto come to mind immediately.
