Maria Full of Grace if it had been a Luc Besson picture bankrolled by a major studio
That part with the eyeball is cool but I don't understand how increased brain capacity allows you to make your eyes change color and your hair grow super fast and change colors? These are brain functions of which I was not yet aware.

This looks great, and I'm rarely excited by studio properties.
Can't believe anyone compared this to Kick-Ass. I mean, 1. This is, on the evidence of this trailer, probably not a comedy. 2. A much easier comparison point (as far as superhero films are concerned) would maybe be Chronicle (at least in terms of narrative arc, tone and power levels, even though it's decidedly not borrowing it's found footage structure) and even though it's using the 10% of your brain myth this looks atmospheric, stylish, fun and crazy, which means it has even more right to USE a myth like that than Limitless. I'm a YES.
I'm completely in love with the Johansson we're enjoying now. Just yesterday saw an interview with Craig Ferguson that was a riot. And I'm already anticipating how I'm going to miss her when she gives birth. If she hadn't been in show business for so long she could aspire to dethrone Lawrence as the new sweetheart.
Wasn't the Wachowsky sibilings' movie trailer also quite Fifth Element? with Tatum as the new platinum blond Willis, and Kunis as the new Jovovich diving included?

Remember when folks were talking about ScarJo's untapped potential a few years ago? She's clearly shaping exactly the kind of career she wants, and I am so happy that involves Tony Awards and indie films and Scottish aliens and Marvel movies and Luc Besson action flicks. Untapped potential be damned!

THIS, however, looks freakin' AWESOME. But then, "Maria Full of Grace if it had been a Luc Besson picture" sounds near-irresistible to me anyway.
Started to get weird near the end -- how does increased brain usage give her telekinesis??? -- but I'm so sold.
It does look like fun but I expected better from the trailer. It does seem a little too much.
Is this a movie previously called "Under the Skin" or is it a different one. We've heard of "Under the Skin" for so long but it doesn't seem to come out yet.
Well, at least she has a seizure when first exposed to the drug (which is something using "100% of your brain" would cause in reality), unlike Limitless. And this looks like it could be crazy and crazy good.
I think the filmmakers are hoping people only use five percent of their brain to watch this. Anyway, I love me some ScarJo and I will definitely see this but... I don't think it looks that great. Intriguing concept, though.

As a Taiwanese, I'm excited to see this movie. Thanks to Ang Lee, who shot Life of Pi in Taiwan, more Hollywood movies choose Taiwan as the filming location. There's no better way to infuse new life into Taiwan film industry and promote his country. Silence is next!
