Curio: Under Their Skin
Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 1:30PM Alexa here with your weekly film art and craft. Nathaniel is not alone in the way Under The Skin (his pick for the top film of 2014) slid into his consciousness: every day there are more and more indie posters cropping up celebrating the the film's special hypnosis. It is second only to The Grand Budapest Hotel as the most posterized film of 2014 (but Wes takes that prize every year). Here are my favorite visual celebrations of the film so far; I'll be streaming it for the umpteenth time today to continue the mood (thanks to Margaret's Amazon Prime tip).

Man, I would just kill to have more marketing departments take a leaf from the book of Justin Simien on 'Dear White People' and use independent fan art as official posters. So much creativity, so much eye-catching design!
Also my top movie of 2014. I've only seen it twice though, and I'm waiting for the price of the Blu Ray to go down. Some great artwork right there.
