Id Bridge of Spies is nearly as good as the criminally underrated Perdition I will gladly overlook the "similarities".

Just watched the Perdition trailer. If only the score were as good as the cinematography, which is great.

Road to Perdition was a great movie, and so were two other films that years that should've been nominated for Best Picture: Spike Lee's The 25th Hour and Steven Spielberg's Minority Report. I don't think I've seen a year where I could not disagree more with the actual nominees.

2002 Best Picture nominees:

Gangs of New York
The Hours
The Pianist
The Lord of the Rings
Winner: Chicago

My nominees would have been:

Far From Heaven
About Schmidt
Minority Report
Road to Perdition
The 25th Hour

alt: Adaptation; Talk to Her
