I thought my answer was always Ewan, but a Connor/Joe convo would be pretty fascinating. Like, how do you guys know each other?
Definitely not Ewan anywhere near that poster right now. The movie is such a misfire/disappointment. But he (and his outfit) do look delicious.
Still, I have to go with the fiancés.
Definitely Ewan and those boots. A post-movie stroll through a NY autumn evening sounds lovely.

A little research reveals that Connor Jessup has been deeply influenced by Eastern Asian cinema, including the films of Apichatpong. Apichatpong is currently in LA screening all of his short films. Great event, was there last night.

Yep, AMERICAN PASTORAL is a real (even if predictable) disappointment. Roth's novel was not material for a first time director for sure, but probably even a more experienced one could have had some problems...
This is the first time I think where I don't have an easy pick. I'd love to hang out with all of them!
I'm with Steven: "Hang out with Joe and Connor." Now that Joe has supposedly left Thailand (due to a growing dangerous political climate for gays) and settled in Mexico, maybe a more international movie is in the cards for him in future. Young Jessup in any movie can only be a plus.
