Honorary Oscars - The Acceptance Speeches
The General Election really threw off coverage here but we're back on our feet (if a bit wobbly) and we hope you are, too! The annual Governor's Awards where the Honorary Oscars are handed out were held this past weekend with basically everyone in attendance. Here are the four honorees giving their very sweet speeches from the event. They're so moved as well they should be by this historica honor.
Enjoy if you haven't yet seen them...
Anne V Coates, Editor
Jackie Chan, Actor
Frederick Wiseman, Documentarian
Lynn Stalmaster, Casting Director

I love the Governor's Awards! I'm glad it's not televised, so it can give time and attention to the wonderful worthy skilled and talented awardees.
Yes, Jackie Chan! So unexpected, yet well deserved.
But I'll bite... whose Oscar does Stallone have??
Congratulations to all
Jackie Chan finally gets an Oscar and well-deserved. He is still the man. Always entertaining.
Loved them all, especially Frederick Wiseman, one of the great American filmmakers, and Jackie Chan, the likes of whom never get the opportunity.
Anne V Coates was delightful
