Happy Halloween!!!

When Laurie's fabulous but crap friends dumped her last minute, she got stuck watching The Thing. Are you watching anything scary tonight, readers?

Nightmare before Christmas and the World Series with the lights turned low. Don’t want those children to think that we will give them candy.

Addams Family Values is now streaming on Amazon. Just watched last night and it’s still amazing!

I watched the first half of Silence of the Lambs and then about the real-life serial killers who recorded their vicious murders and Scott Glenn listened to them because they still use it to desensitize FBI agents. I consider myself to be a true crime buff, but it was too much after that.

I'm rewatching Season One of American Horror Story. Jessica Lange slays. Sigh.

I didn't get to squeeze in the masterpiece The Exorcist. Next weekend then.

MM -- stranger things 2 also for me tonight. Or maybe DRAGON SEED (1944) as yellowface is totally scary (i dont mean to make light but i do have to watch it for the smackdown and am dreading!)

Nat: Ooh, yikes with Dragon Seed. I'm probably doing either The Night of the Hunter or the original Nightmare on Elm Street. As for the person doing Nightmare Before Christmas? I generally try to watch that every year either on November 27 or on the weekend closest to it.

I just re-watched The Devil's Backbone. A great film that more people need to see.
