I like Ewan McGregor. My favorite performance of his is Beginners or maybe The Impossible. I regretted watching T2: Trainspotting because it was all kinds of disappointing.
I adore Ewan McGregor. My favorite performance of his other than Moulin Rouge (duh) is Down With Love or maybe Beginners. I haven't seen T2: Trainspotting because I'm still recovering from the dead baby in the first film.

I haven't seen T2: Trainspotting because it may not be showing around here anymore and I'm a bit "meh" about gen-xers in movies pontificating about why the Internet/millennials/Facebook are garbage. Like, yes, we all know.
I miss the amazing daring of '90s/early 2000s Ewan McGregor. My favorite performance of his is Velvet Goldmine or maybe Shallow Grave. I am ignoring T2 because of the name alone.
I will always have a soft spot for Ewan McGregor. My favorite performance of his is other than Moulin Rouge! (duh) is Trainspotting or maybe Nightwatch (I used to really like this movie, haven't seen it in years). I am curious about T2: Trainspotting because I'm about the same age as the characters so I've aged with them.
I like Ewan McGregor (but I no longer love him after he screwed up in adapting the brilliant American Pastoral). My favorite performance of his other than Moulin Rogue! (duh! for real) is Down with Love or maybe Shallow Grave. I missed T2: Trainspotting because although I admire the original, it's not an easy film to stomach (see previous entries regarding the toilet scene and the dead baby), and so I'd rather catch the follow-up on the small screen. Plus, I am also sceptical as to whether it needed a sequel.

I always fall in love with Ewan McGregor [in each new movie]. My favorite performance of his, other than Moulin Rouge! (meh, am I the only one who didn't care for it???), is I Love You, Phillip Morris or maybe Big Fish. I didn't see T2: Trainspotting because I never saw the first one.
I love Ewan doing sweet and romantic, and gay doesn't hurt either. A boy can dream...
I'm married to Ewan McGregor. My favorite performance of his is other than Moulin Rouge! (duh) is Trainspotting or maybe Beginners. I won't go see T2: Trainspotting because a) it's unnecessary and b) it will make me feel old.
I still love him in Star Wars best?? Not because his performances are his best ever or because the films are particularly good, but his charisma and relatively unscathed line deliveries (as opposed to the other leads) are an excellent instance of someone saving a nearly unwatchable franchise. Yes, I'm one of these fans who still wants him to be in an Obi Wan standalone movie.

Just a shout-out to Ewan's other overlooked films: The Pillow Book, Brassed Off, Little Voice,
Emma and A Life Less Ordinary. I'm probably the only one who loves T2: Trainspotting but then again I may just be one of those who'll watch any film that features Ewan. I don't have something in mind for a Ewan McGregor best performance, but Ghost Writer was quite good.
