Since we were just talking about Ben is Back...
Thanks to Jazz (from Awards Daily) for sharing this with us. It's from the Post Journal of Jamestown. Do you think someone got fired?

I know you will say that I'm not being fair, but for me the game changed when she went along with being considered supporting in August. I know it had been done before, but never with such a superstar. Mara or Vikander didn't have the power to complain, she did.
Lol they issued a retraction too haha
this gave me a true LOL. i'll bet she howled if someone sent this to her. and lord, if only that were true for all of us.
"E... di... tor....?" I don't... huh??? Suri Alexa, what's a ... e... dit....erer?!?!?"
For Julia, I believe it might actually be true.
Which Jamestown?!
Ha ha. Pretty Woman forever.
@Mike: And truth is a defense to libel.
Proof that there are perfect holes in Hollywood for women over 50.
Good for her.
"Well, those too." - Julia, probably
Didn't Julianne Moore have a similar situation in Map of the Stars?
You know it's a mistake because the latter is rarely, if ever, true and our Julia never lies.
What kind of Christmas miracle is this?!
Pegy Sue, I see more or less your point, but I honestly think it is unfair (or at least partly unfair). We are talking about the Julia Roberts of 2013, not the Julia Roberts of 2000, in a film with the Meryl Streep of 2013, not the Meryl Streep of 2000, so I do not think Julia had so much influence. It was, moreover, an Oscar hopeful film that underperformed with critics, so that campaign was the only real chance to get at least two nominations (sadly, Martindale and Nicholson had no chances). If both Julia and Meryl had campaigned in lead, they may have cancelled each other, and I assume it was a risk that nobody in the studio was going to take.
Do not misunderstand me, I do not like category fraud (even if it has been played by more than many stars I like) but I can understand that, apart from the ego stuff, you want to contribute to maximize the outputs of any film you have been working hard in, especially if it is not performing as you expected. To be honest, I find much more outrageous and game-changing the Kate Winslet campaign for 'The Reader', even if the Academy corrected that atrocity in the end.
Anyone remember Beloved Cunt?
LMFAO!
Jokes aside. Ms. Roberts has only really played variants of one role most of her life -- in romcoms and slight variants in Steel Magnolias and Erin Brokovich.
If there is one actress whose stardom far exceeded her abilities or her (purported) pulchritude, it's Julia.
