Seeing this for the first time was the best theatrical experience I had in 2017. Long live the NYC repertory scene!!!!

"Are they watching us!?" Yes, we are. I love this scene. Those extreme close ups. The way Liz delivers the line I just mentioned (it almost seems improvised). Those oh so beautiful faces. It's enough to make you almost forget that George Eastman is basically a "fuck boy" and everything tragic that does happen could've essentially have been avoided.

Murtada -- isn't it sublime? One of my all time favorite films.

Val -- yes. this scene is everything.

I absolutely love this movie... 2 very beautiful people.

2 of the best examples of the epitome of human beauty.

One of my all-time favorite films, too.

Is it wrong to wish them a Happy Ending after we witnessed all that happened?

Oh, how I adore this film. Shelley Winters is sublime too!

THE most beautiful onscreen couple of all time.

It's noteworthy that Montgomery Clift and Shelley Winters were both a dozen years older than Elizabeth Taylor, who was sheltered and 17 when 'Sun' was actually shot in late '49. Yet, ET is remarkably assured and empathetic as Angela...

Taylor and Clift in their youthful perfection- a couple made in classic Hollywood heaven

I put a close up of Monty's face on the screen of my phone so that I can touch that face everytime I need to unblock it.

;)

It's only 1951. Wait till she gets prettier, hotter and better actress than the good one that at this point she already is.
