One thing that has always bugged me about The Blues Brothers, is you get these smokin' hot performances by Aretha, James Brown, Ray Charles, etc. (for which we all should be eternally grateful) and then they completely ignore them and ask for their old band members to join them. I always thought it would have made more sense if they had deliberately come to get Aretha, James, Ray,etc., but were turned down with "I can't, but you can have (member of old band) instead". How could someone just sit there watching Aretha doing "Think" and not want HER for their band?
I honestly don't know how The Affair will go on without Ruth Wilson for one more (and final) season.
I strongly recommend her final episode (S4 Ep.9). You don't even have to be a fan of the show to get it. It's about a date that goes wrong, violently wrong. Scariest thing I've seen this year and she shines.
@Ken S
That was entirely the joke of the movie.
I live here in L A. How do I keep missing events like a "Grease" reunion?!?!?! 4 times in the Theater in Summer '78!!!!! It's... It's... I don't know. what's the word I'm thinking of?!?!?
