Tilda and Cate continue to rule all (and Naomi Watts is holding her own with them this year). And yeah, Colman looks great - I'm with Charles O in eagerly anticipating her being visible on the trail this season.
Tilda killed it. I loved that Cate without a film to show can just come and dominate. I vote for her just to come to every festival just to be Cate.
It makes me so emotional to think of my fave Olivia being crowned this award's season.
Just got to say, to get it off my chest, I think Lady Gaga's tattoos make me gag. Don't worry, won't say it again. Her dresses are beautiful.
Tilda is really in a class by herself, she wears such unusual things; no one ever really looks at all like her.
Cate Blanchett is another joy, always looks good. Isn't she there because she's a judge, or was that last year?
rrrich7 -- cate's not on the jury this year. the stars on the jury this year are naomi watts, christoph waltz, lee byung-hun, guilllermo del toro, and i'm forgetting someone i think.
Cate is there because Armani is a sponsor and she's one of their "ambassadors". I'm not mad that she's there as a model, always love to see her on the red carpet.
Cate seems kind of lifeless to me? I can’t quite put my finger on why I don’t like her looks - maybe they are too defined by someone else. GaGa and Tilda look great. Is this why Emma dropped out of Little Women? Good try.

Watts, as many, many have noted already, is on the jury of this year's Venice Film Festival. She really has turned it out so brava.
Swinton, God bless her, and especially Blanchett are serving capital-A actressexual, other worldly (Swinton) or old Hollywood (Blanchett) movie star glamour, and I am here for both. Moretz (and, sadly, Fanning), on the other hand, has been over-served and needs to get back to the sleepover; it's past her bedtime. (Take your style cues from contemporaries Powley and Stone.)
Colman has never looked better (other than the dress' being too long and dragging in front) and is in Oscar-winning territory, red carpet-wise. Hope she can take it all the way.
Tilda is kicking ass as usual though I think Lady Gaga is still in the lead with that big pink dress.

Gaga's outfits are stunning, I am loving this era for her. Cate and Tilda slay as always. I also love Emma's more casual ensembles that suit her colouring so well.
