That new statuette is absolutely horrible. Looks so cheap. I miss the marble.
So it was evil Patty Clarkson that sabotaged Adams at the Globes.
After Disobedience and The Favourite (she is astonishing in both) I'm in love again with Rachel Weisz. That compilation was sooo funny passionate and sweet.
And Julia & Nicole hugging are to die for.
I think the Rachel Weisz video is mean. Make your point, sure (and don't get me wrong, it is a point worth making), and she'll hopefully learn from it, but no need to mock her for it.
The Golden Globes have often been the butt of many boob jokes (ie. wow, check out her golden globes!). And so what do they do but retaliate by making their award look like a big golden dildo!
That statuette makes me feel bad for all the first-time winners.
Nat: I would love to see "Black James Bond" as a thing, but Idris specifically? Not now. Not because he's black, but because even if the switch happened NOW, he's older than Roger Moore when he started. I'd love to see him as M, when Ralph Fiennes gives up that role, just as a nod to Elba as Bond being something people argued for, but I think his chance at actually being Bond, pretty much, passed when Craig got it.
Idris is a horrible choice for James Bond. Let it go...
Sadly the moment when I wanna see some winners unconsciously stroking the Globes statue up and down never came.
