On a scale of 1 to 5 Audreys, how excited are you for Big Little Lies 2

And who are you most excited to see reprise their role and why?

Excited for Nicole obviously, but I do sort of hope Reese gets lots to bite into, she was so fabulous last season but I feel people forgot!

But aside from Meryl, most exciting is ANDREA ARNOLD.

Reese! I love Nicole but BLL is Reese’s show.

zero

but fosse/verdon? 100/5

Loving it as it was, I desperately didn’t want a second season. That is until Andrea Arnold joined, changing everything for me. 5 Audrey’s.

Andrea Arnold for sure. I'm curious to see how she takes on this material. Also Shailene, she was the stealth MVP of season 1.

I want Alexander back.

Crystal Fox plays Zoe Kravitz's mother. Hence my excitement seeing her exercise her acting chops outside a Tyler Perry nighttime soap.

I’m currently rewatching S1 and Reese Witherspoon is everything.

I.want to know what happened that night...I guess NKidamn, Zoe and Shailene will own the show!

Zero. They wrapped it up so perfectly, so beautifully, the first time around that another go at it just seems foolhardy. I second the excitement for Fosse/Verndon, which looks delicious.

Audrey times infinity.
Wishing Reese is the one to win the Emmy this time around (still in miniseries or move to drama?)

I sadly didn't renew HBO but back when I did I enjoyed Silicon Valley, Camping, and Succession a lot

January 8, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterOrrin

I will watch. because of Streep. Reece is my next
T fave.

Cautiously optimistic, and this reminds me I need to order HBO before GoT starts, too.

They did finish it perfectly, so who knows?

And I'm also rooting for Nicole to step back, and let Reese shine.

FR -- I think it'll now be eligible in Drama Series.

I could be wrong, but I imagine that Streep is going to get most of the spotlight, awards attention, etc this time around.

I look forward to all of these ladies returning, and I thought they were all fabulous. More than anything I want this to actually be good! The new talent on board certainly bodes well. I thought Season 1 was perfect and was dubious when I heard about Season 2, but Arnold, Streep, and that amazing returning cast have me super excited.

I understand why people are cautious, but if anyone can knock it out of the park a second time, I believe it's this team. The material, the cast, the crew. I believe in them.

I hope Zoe has a bit more to chew on this time. I'm excited to see what Meryl does. And of course the other four.

January 8, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterPhilip H.

Witherspoon. She was acting circles around everyone else in S1. Kidman's was one of the more ridiculous award runs this decade.

January 8, 2019 | Unregistered Commentergoran

OMG! I loved this photo!
Though, I am not excited for a second season...

January 8, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterDoug

5 er 100! I can't wait. And while Nicole was great as always, Reese was just phenomenal with a much trickier character.

January 9, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterBRIAN

forever1267 -- i'm hoping for that same thing. Reese was utterly fabulous in Season 1 but the arc around Nicole (and Nicole's own genius) kind of killed her awards prospects. If Reese is as good as she was in Season 1 again i hope they throw awards at her.
