Wonderful choices but the sex scene of Queen & Slim may have been my favourite ever.
Seriously, why Jojo's Helden isn't among the best endings? It is one of the best endings ever? My number one of the year is for Pain and Glory's undoubtfully. Parasite... not so much. Love the film but the ending is overlong, convoluted and frankly misdirects the whole film's purpose

The Gimme More scene in Hustlers was absolutely robbed. “That’s my motherf***in’ song!”
Favourite moment not mentioned: "Wayfaring Stranger" from 1917. Perhaps the only moment the film broke free of it's video-game asthetics and achieves something approaching poetry.
Frankly, if the fiilm had hit that level for me more consistently we'd be talking about one of the best for sure.
Favourite finalist moment: The ending to "Pain and Glory"
A beautiful moment I didn't see it coming and full on applauded. Also, as much as I love the "ramdon" moment, I think I might have loved the "Peaches/tuburculosis" scene even more. Exquisite staging, character beats and I listen to that track on the soundtrack all the time.

I do love the special category Film Bitch awards, though - I look forward to these every year.
Parasite's ram-don scene is absolutely my favorite in the movie.
It is a great scene of dark comedy but also a crucial moment because the characters starts to want to cover some things but at the same time they develop others.
I would add the "Honey Boy" opening: that lightning fast montage of scenes from Otis' life, on set and off, in which the line between his performances and his everyday reality is totally blurred.
For endings: "The Souvenir." Looking forward to the sequel.
No honorary Best Montage category to give Parasite one more nomination?
I just realized The Perfect Montage in Parasite wasn’t even a runner-up. I guess it didn’t really count as a scene?
