People with two jobs struggling to pay rent and praying no to get cancer is very dark ages to me. Enjoy Biden.

Where's your revolution now, Susan Sarandon? You should have supported me when you had the chance!

Now I have to listen to the Thoroughly Modern Millie soundtrack all day. Sublime.

Democrats don't want the revolution and they couldn't care less about the people. They just want their seats and their privileges back.

Bette Davis said that 86 years after the events portrayed in the movie. Since that film came out, it's been 82 years. Crazy that we're almost as far from Bette's time as she was from pre-Civil War.

Can we just kill both the Republican and Democratic party? It often feels like you're voting for a douche and a shit sandwich yet there's not much of a difference.

Reading these responses is so disheartening. How could anyone not think that a Biden presidency would be exponentially better than what we have now?

March 4, 2020 | Unregistered CommenterTyler

thevoid99 -- there's a vast Grand Canyon sized difference between the two parties. Perhaps you don't live in the US?

Tyler -- because we live in a time of deep radicalization. Obviously Biden (not anywhere close to my choice -- i'd place him last among the recent candidates except maybe Sanders) would not reinvent the wheel or be the best president but it might restore a little sanity to the US which right now is on the brink of losing its democracy altogether. So yes, exponentially better... but people are radicalized so it's a zero sum game for everyone now. They have to have 100% of what they want and the rest is garbage or evil to them.

Audiences in 1939 saw this trailer and chuckled. Today, we don’t laugh because we have a president who scoffed at Parasite winning Best Picture and prefers a Jezebel-era movie romanticizing the Civil War South. So very sad.

Biden doesn't look so well. He's going to ruin the Academy.

Jezebel is a poor cousin to GWTW

Jack Warner refuses to loan out Bette to MGM to make GWTW, n bought this vehicle to appease his biggest star!

Bette won her 2nd Oscar by sheer star power!! I'd prefer Wendy Hiller in Pygmallion, the original Eliza Doolittle to win.

Look Warren would be best, then considering the house (how moderate democrat were instrumental in flipping the house) and obstinate Republican senate it is clearly Biden next, then pie in the sky, "great ideas, but I don't have a plan for that!" Bernie. Americans proved with Trump how easily they will throw their poor and middle class and minoriies under the bus just because a very centris nominee with a vagina (and decades of smear campaigning) was the pragmatic and morally correct pick of the two presidential nominees of 2016. With the constant behind the door rumbling's of a one term Biden, and the likelihood of a very ineffectual Bernie (coming off a heart attack and of the same vintage, almost 80(!), as Biden)blaming the system whilst taking no compromise to get closer to his ideals, it really is obvious. But even in this comment section there is nonsense spread.
