I'm gonna take myself the liberty to share the page with the nominees to the Ariel because I feel so excited that (finally!) were announced

We may have a best actress lineup that includes Elisabeth Moss, Rosamond Pike, and Amy Adams this year. Best actor looks slim so far this year.
That Vulture piece on Nolan movies is... a lot. Speaking of being too clever for it's own good. I'm not a fan of that style of writing. Of course, DUNKIRK is probably the only one I would go see again but only in IMAX because that experience was incredible.
At least we're going to see Woman in the Window.
Sure it looks like complete trash, but I can't wait!
Tangerine was 5 years ago? damn.
Kate Winslet in Ammonite is apparently something very special could we have 2 previous winners two years in a row.
Looking at her picture - it's really sad that Amy Adams never came to play Janis Joplin !!! What happened to this project? ... she would have been terrific ?
@martin
This project was deleted according to imdb... Yes, she could have been terrific and would have won the Oscar...
This year looks also an important year for Amy Adams ( Hillbilly Elegy and TWITW ), I see the seventh Oscar nomination coming.
"Cat on Hot Tin Roof" still has gay subtext because no one is going to believe that any straight man would turn down a chance to have sex with the gorgeous young Elizabeth Taylor. I think Newman is playing some of the gay subtext too. There was a recent production in which the ghost of Brick's " friend" followed the coupe around the stage but sounds too literal specially for Williams.
The vulture piece is snarky and funny, until you get to number 1 and realize that people died in the Aurora viewing of the Dark Knight Rises. How did not editor catch that this article was in poor taste? A simple ranking would have sufficed...
I love a trashy thriller. Bring on Woman in the Window!
It bothers me that Christopher Nolan's reputation won't take much of a blow from his stupid quest to fill movie theaters, COVID be damned. At least Seth Rogan called him out on it.
I hope that Amy Adams aces and wins for “Nightbitch”
I can imagine the trailer later on HBO, 7 time academy award nominee Amy Adams in her oscar winning role, NightBitch.
So much fun. Lol
I'm so tired of anything Amy Adams related. She's always solid, but rarely great.
