I never liked Ryan Murphy at all ever since I saw Running with Scissors on TV as I just fucking hated that film. It was so over-the-top and wanted to be all of these things and failed. Jill Clayburgh, Evan Rachel Wood, and Brian Cox at least tried to display some character but it was just a fucking mess.
I also hate Ryan Murphy for the fact that he tried to bully rock musicians for refusing to have their songs on Glee as Dave Grohl and Slash not only told him to fuck off but also refused to have their music be used in such an awful way. I hated that fucking show and the fact that the show allowed a toxic culture backstage in how Lea Michelle treated many people behind the scenes is proof that he's a piece of shit.
Tanya Roberts was someone I grew up on as I knew her for Sheena and A View to a Kill as well as some early 90s softcore films (which I liked) yet I enjoyed seeing her in That 70's Show though I applaud her for abandoning her career to take care of her ailing husband. I always thought she was a nice lady and it's sad that she died and all of the circumstances about whether she lived or died. R.I.P. Midge.
J.K. Rowling, she's the new George Lucas. She began to revise some of her work and confuse people while created an unnecessary prequel franchise that didn't just drive away her longtime fans but also insulted their intelligence.
I think Ryan Murphy is undervalued. He is the only gay voice out there that is wildly successful and loved by fans. Of course his work is not perfect (what is actually), but it is very entertaining and he has his own visual style.
Devastated by the loss of Dawn Wells! I was always firmly in the Mary Ann camp (though I loved Ginger and her clothes). It's shocking because every time you'd see her she was always so vibrant and glowing. She seemed like an genuinely lovely person and was certainly aging extremely well. So for her to be so suddenly taken is sobering. Of course sadly her story is not unique, it's become frighteningly common. Still there are some losses that hit you in a certain way when there is that deep seeded connection especially when they happen unexpectedly.
The whole Tanya Roberts kerfuffle is bizarre but it seems to be a genuine misunderstanding with no malicious intent.
Possessor was great fun in a bloody, gory type of way. Glad to see it topping at least one (albeit horror specific) end of year list. Can i FYC Gabrielle Graham for your Film Bitch awards additional acting categories?
Barbara Shelley, an actress of lovely porcelain beauty, memorable in her Hammer horror films, frightened by, and sometimes turning into, ghastly entities. We lost Tanya Roberts too soon (and undisclosed), and what a fine, breathtaking talent.
Farewell, my angel Tanya. You injected a great burst of enthusiasm as Julie Rogers (Nathaniel's aunt?? :)) on Season 5 of Charlie's Angels, and I wish we had more than the brief season shortened by the 1980 actors strike.
I've always kept away from Hollywood shows, but I'm so glad I decided that I needed to go meet Tanya last January, where she appeared solo and did photos with Marc Singer from the Beastmaster.
Will hold her in my heart with Farrah Fawcett, David Doyle, and John Forsythe.
Am I a bad film snob for actually liking Ratched?
Ryan Murphy is a white Lee Daniels.
Seriously, you should link to the HILARIOUS and SPOT ON "Wonder Woman 1984 Pitch Meeting" by Ryan George, in youtube's Screen Rant channel. George really topped himself with this one... and the whole series is hilarious, and has been for years...
Seriously, is this what happens when you let Patty Jenkins to write, direct and produce? And they greenlighted not only WW3 but also Rogue Squadron giving her complete control? Wow, way to commit suicide WB and Disney... check out the Pitch Meeting...
Rest in Peace, Angel.
Nah, he's a gay David E. Kelley. Or a male Shonda Rimes.
I am tired of people discussing one tweet Rowling made and people’s reaction to it.
It's more than one tweet, Chinoiserie. It's many, many comments.
