And finally gone but not remotely forgotten...

Puerto Rican acting legend Raul Julia (1940-1994) who left us far too soon at just 54 years of age after a very successful cross-medium career which included stage (4 Tony Award nominations including thee original production of Nine, plus an Drama Desk win for Two Gentlemen of Verona), television (posthumous Globe, SAG, & Emmy wins for The Burning Season), and film (3 Globe nominations for Moon Over Parador, Kiss of the Spider-Woman, and The Tempest  and an NBR Best Actor prize for Kiss of the Spider-Woman).

Raul Julia's performances in the New York Shakespeare Festival productions of King Lear (1973, with James Earl Jones), The Threepenny Opera (1976, with Ellen Greene), The Cherry Orchard (1977, with Irene Worth, Michael Cristofer, Mary Beth Hurt and Streep) and The Taming of the Shrew (1978, with Streep) were thrilling and unforgettable, clearly. (And yes, I was going to the theater and being thrilled at age 1.)

Maite Perroni is also a singer and a telenovela actress.

Jean-Marc Vallée is a missing talent whatever the medium.

Raul Julia's early death deprived us, among other things, of an obviously awaited and planned third part of The Addams Family.

This is also Italian Beauty Ornella Muti (of Flash Gordon and Swann in love international fame)’s birthday

Raul Julia and Oscar Isaac have the same birthday? And they both play Gomez Addams? That’s a fun little bit of trivia.

Raul Julia... one of the greats. I would totally be on board to have Oscar Isaac be Gomez Addams in a live-action version of the film.
