• Playbill Here's a surprise. Take Me Out, the very naked baseball play, which ended its Broadway revival run in June is already back. It reopens today and runs through January 29th. Same cast but for the wonderful Bill Heck (Locke & Key, Pit Stop, The Old Man) replacing Patrick J Adams (Suits)
• Guardian all of Jennifer Lawrence's feature performances ranked. Bizarre ranking.... like.. did they see the same X-Men movies? Yikes but she was not good in those, particularly towards the end when she was very obviously over it.

• THR James Gunn, of Guardians of the Galaxy fame, is moving to the other side exclusively (once his Guardians of the Galaxy promotional tour concludes that is) for at least four years. He'll be co-chair and co-CEO of DC Studios, overseeing most of their superhero films.

Finally, Cartoon Brew reports that BAFTA has resumed their "Children and Young People Awards" after shutting it down in 2020 due to the pandemic. The twist is that all the films eligible during that hiatus are now eligible so the dates are a massive window from summer 2019 through summer 2022. Even weirder, 75% of the nominees comes from Netflix. Perhaps BAFTA needs to rethink their system...

Did you see Take Me Out Nathaniel. I was sad I missed it especially after the Tonys (similar with The Inheritance) but now another shot. I live in Canada so bit of a pricier jaunt.
I hope Paul Mescal gets to at least present at the Oscars.
I wish James Gunn the best despite the fact that the people running Warner Discovery are among the worst people who never should run a corporation let alone a sweet shop.
I think Paul Mescal is the best new actor to appear since River Phoenix. The same vulnerability, passion, and openness. He's the real thing.
