The Cannes red carpet waits for no man. So we'll keep trying to bring you 16 key looks each couple of days -- wish us luck! If you missed part one that's here. Outside of movies, which we'll get to on Monday, the weeked at Cannes was filled with the 82 woman protest and of course more and more gowns. Above we have Fan Bingbing in an amazing assymetrical dress from Alexis Mabille Haute Couture with sharp black ribbon details. In the past five years of fame Lupita Nyong'o has, we believe, now worn every single color that exists. Prada peach perfect, this time. Amber Heard is making quite a statement (though what is it?) in a puffy black and white floral number from Giambattista Valli Haute Couture. And Marion Cotillard looks fresh and fun in this Adam Selman gingham dress --love the smart belted hint of green for summer and red sandals for flash. Cotillard's film this year is called Angel Face which is an apt description. And Cotillard has been working it every day at the festival...

Reason No "355" to Love Jessica Chastain

This just in: Jessica Chastain's production company Freckle Films is mounting a film called 355 which is a spy thriller based on an idea by and starring Chastain herself. With Nathaniel now ensconced in new digs, the podcast can resume. Up first a mini-podcast on Ryan Coogler and Marvel's Black Panther blockbuster with Nick Davis and Katey Rich. It's paired with a "deleted scene" from the last podcast as Nick, special guest Teo Bugbee and Nathaniel discuss favorites that were never really in the awards conversation but we hope people will find on streaming including super-hero adjacent Professor Marston and the Wonder Women.

Best Dressed at SAG

Marvel at this feat of fashion engineering. Somehow the 16 actors (+ god knows how many stylists) got together and took the title This is Us to heart and made it work. Everything was gorgeously coordinated and complimentary though not samey samey. From the royal blue throughline of the gowns to small color accents on the tuxes to the peppering of earth tones, purples, blacks, and golds to keep it vibrant and versatile. The more you look the more cohesive and beautiful it becomes. Bow down. Okay now on to the gowns...
