Happy Birthday Chicago
The Windy City is celebrating it's 174th birthday today. Happy Day to all our Chicago readers! Party safe today if you're partying. Chicago is awesome. Not only does it have plentiful good film critic peoples, it's got good cinematic songs!
Which is it for you? Calamity Jane, Norma Cassady, Sufjan Stevens, The Blues Brothers or the Merry Murderesses of Cook County Jail?

Greetings from Illinois. Clearly "Victor/Victoria" is the victor here, but I sort of love how shameless "Calamity Jane" is in ripping off other musicals.
I LOVE the movie musical "Chicago" but Sufjan Stevens is the one for me! Haha
"Calamity Jane" because she calls it "Chicagee" and it's Doris' favorite movie that she made.
Sufjan all the way.
Samuel -- it is a gorgeous song.
Jackie -- "Chicagee"... maybe we should bring that back?
And all that Jazz!
Sufjan...with Calamity Jane a close second. (And thank you for not including "My Kind of Town." UGH.)
