Audrey Hepburn Circa 1953

Audrey Hepburn around the time of Roman Holiday's release, making her a legendary movie queen or at least future royalty princess instantly.
She would have turned 82 today. What's your favorite Audrey?

Holly Golightly Forever!
Two for the Road, a movie I only discovered a couple of years ago. What a bittersweet, moving film and performance from her.
I'd have to chose three: Roman Holiday, Breakfast at Tiffany's and Wait Until Dark.
Charade for me, but once the '67 duo of performances get their second watches they could sneak up the list. Oh and My Fair Lady i saw for the first time at the start of the year and I really liked Audrey.
Funny Face.
I've only seen Audrey in The Nun's Story...she was brilliant!
"Funny Face" with Audrey and Fred Astaire playing a version of the photographer Richard Avedon, who worked on the movie. Every frame could be a classic Vogue shot. Fashion, Paris, existentialist Greenwich Village, Audrey singing and dancing. A total treat.
Then "Charade" with Cary Grant, and "Sabrina" with Humphrey Bogart. I also liked "How to Steal A Million" where the Givenchy-clad Audrey is the daughter of Parisian art forger Hugh Griffith and Peter O'Toole the undercover agent come to trap him.
Oh, "Two For the Road", hands down. One of my all time favorite films, in general - she gave such a natural, real, warm yet sharp performance, and her chemistry with Finney was just smoooookin' hot. The movie is bittersweet, yes, that is the right definition - and she is at her most charming in it.
I also adore "Charade" and "Roman Holiday". There never will be anyone quite like her.
Eliza Doolittle. So funny and so gorgeous.
Charade!
All of Audrey! Love her!
I thought I'd be the only one to mention Two For The Road! That movie got almost no love when it came out despite the cast (and Stanley Donen). I think it was ahead of its time. About five years too early maybe.
I could watch Two For the Road, Funny Face, and Roman Holiday at least once a year. In fact, I probably do.
It is Two For The Road for me two, but that's not to say I think her star turns in Sabrina, Roman Holiday, et cetera, are minor acting jobs. They are not.
I am saying this because people use to say: "Hey, see Two For The Road or The Nun's Story, because Audrey was amazing was an actress". She is always amazing as an actress, within her little range. She was a witty, classy and subtle performer. It's not only charisma.
Let's TOP 10?
1 - Two For The Road
2 - Breakfast at Tiffany's
3 - Roman Holiday
4 - The Nun's Story
5 - Love in The Afternoon
6 - My Fair Lady (she is great here, it's always good to state that)
7 - Sabrina
8 - The Unforgiven
9 - Charade
10 - Robin and Marian
my heart is probably with Breakfast at Tiffany's but I still have not seen Robin & Marian and Nun's Story so i need to get on that.
