Random Thought I Had While Watching 'Green Lantern':

Don't even get me started about all the sartorial fantasies I kept having involving Blake Lively...

Have you ever been so bored at a movie that your mind suddenly took you to such weird places?

I don't think I've ever been that bored in a movie.

However, sometimes sex just isn't that good..........and your mind literally thinks about everything under the sun besides what's actually going on at that moment.

Philip -- maybe too much sex if you're that bored during it. lol.

Jose -- i have had this too many times to count so this made me laugh. Unfortunately i don't usually have fun while my mind wanders. It usually wanders to things i have to get done, or deadlines, or stress pockets.. although occassionally is does go right into another movie and then i lose the plot thread.

I could have lived without seeing that photo of J.Lo again, thank you. Now I need to go scrub my eyeballs or something. (It's not the display of cleaveage, it's that godawful pattern on the dress. I guess it's meant to be "tropical camo pattern"? Obviously doing her no good in that setting.)

I was so bored while watching 'The Adjustment Bureau,' I started pretending that what I was watching was eventually going to be a romance between Matt Damon and Anthony Mackie's characters. Much better, much much better. But then I got irrationally mad that the story didn't go in that direction.

While watching Cowboys and Aliens I became fascinated by Olivia Wilde's eyebrows and whether she'd fixed her "evil eyebrows" now that she's getting more roles. You know the pointy arch eyebrows like kids draw on witches for Halloween? (Michelle Obama has them. Why? Where is her style advisor?) I finally decided that yes, Wilde is giving her eyebrows a more graceful curve, which would allow her to have more facial expressions and play a greater variety of characters.

No not at all hahah. I'm just not the hook up type, so occasionally when I make that mistake, it reminds me why I'm not the hook up type lol. Anyway...just had to clarify so I don't sound like a total floozy. :P

BUT on that same token, maybe too many movies if you're that bored during them ;)

I do it all the time, actually. Especially in the movie theatre. ADD, I suppose.

Although The Green Lantern's script were full of concept words that you're thinking the movie is wrong about those concepts.

Yes and with my first time watching Velvet Goldmine recently:

"Why isn't Toni Collette in more things? She's at Samantha Morton's level of amazingness when she gets great material. Why did Ewan never play Kurt Cobain since he looks so much like him in this movie. With this cast, this movie would never get made nowadays. Hollywood needs to give Todd Haines more money to do what he want. Hollywood sucks. I wonder what Sandy Powell is doing right this very second."

At least he wasn't the Wonder Twins, but Aquaman got more love than Green Lantern on that show. Thankfully, my friend explained why Green Lantern is so cool. I mean, having the power to create anything you can imagine... that's pretty awesome stuff. Obviously, the more imaginative the person, the better, and that was my main concern going in to this movie -- that the things the writers came up with for Green Lantern to create wouldn't be that creative.
