All of these guild exclusions are making the Oscars even more unpredictable than they already were. Exciting!
I made the mistake of looking up Anne Hathaway's wardrobe malfunction shot, thinking it must be a loose nipple, but no! she pulled a Britney and it took me years to recover from that sight. Now I can't look at a perfectly charming photo of her and Hugh without thinking, "What numskull would think an invisible pantyline was more important than the prospect of eternal pussy betrayal?" (And why can't Hugh perform a similar service, say, on the beach in Sydney or while wearing a kilt?)
Alicia Vikander is so charming too. I saw a few interviews with her recently on YouTube...obviously she did a little campaigning but it didn't seem to work for Anna Karenina.
I thought Ruth Wilson, not Vikander, was the standout discovery of Anna Karenina. She played Princess Betsy, and also co-starred with Jude Law in the London production of Anna christie while Karenina was being shot. She's in some big 2013 movie too, though I can't remember which.

OMG...Anne Hathaway is simply stunning on her Les Mis press and premiere tour...she's never looked better.
Yes! Vikander and her movie counterpart, Gleeson were two of the stand outs in Anna Karenina.I actually quite enjoyed the film, even though, Knightley and Johnson just weren't up for the task of being more then serviceable.
