Jessica & Madge

Remember that very first time we interviewed Jessica Chastain when we were just getting to know her name and she told us she was starstruck in the presence of Madonna? What a difference a few years makes. She got on stage in Prague with the Queen last night. They both shared the moment on Instagram

The moment right before @madonna handed me a banana. The fkn QUEEN. #rebelheart #unapologeticbitch

I will not rest until we see Jessica in some kind of glamorous musical where she can let loose like this!

They both look gorgeous. I saw her in Brooklyn this past September--AWESOME show. I've seen every tour since Drowned World, and this is easily her best since Reinvention.

This is a criminally underrated era for Madonna. I think Rebel Heart is her best album since Music, but she can't catch a break on radio to save her life. If Rihanna released "Ghosttown" it'd be #1 for a month.

Joe - that's just the nature of pop culture, music, film and otherwise

There are Madonna songs that wouldn't have been #1 had someone other than Madonna sung them, and songs from other singers that would've been #1 if they belonged to Madonna.

That's why pop stars are so successful, it's not JUST about the music, but also the person[a].

And I don't think the general public is generally as interested in Madonna anymore. Or the industry is just being ageist/sexist, who knows.

Sorry, Madonna and (especially) Chastain are totally fantastic, but the dude on the left in the second picture is just in the zone. Look at that dawg, it's a still photo and I can still feel the man moving with his inner Fred Astaire.

But yeah, holy shit, I wanna marry Chastain.

I want to like the picture but I just don't get a read on Jessica Chastain. Who is she with, want are her hobbies, and what is she really like? And Madonna feels a little Cher farewell tour now. Past her prime but still likes to turn for coin like a working girl.
