Podcast: My Cousin Wonder Woman, The Beguiled
Well, that was quite a hiatus. The podcast is back though we might be a bit slow to rev up to weekly again and please excuse all our airconditioners and fans running in the background. We're melting here in NYC.
In this episode Nathaniel reunites with Joe and Nick to catch up and talk five newish movies.

Nathaniel- how likely is a best supporting actress nod for kirsten dunst. Especially if this turns out to be a breakout summer hit.
Welcome back!
Yay! Glad you're back!
I think I'm gonna rent Sparkle as a protest vote to get Carmen Ejogo better roles. And Nick, thank you for articulating something I'd felt off about watching Wonder Woman but couldn't quite place. I'm glad what it's doing for a lot of people but yeah. Not my cuppa. It's for sure better than Batman v Superman, but BvS also has the kind of "at least we're gonna go crazy with this horseshit" quality the best bad movies have. Like, the US President nukes Superman. In the eleven and halfth hour. Shit's wackadoo.
I hope you were all barechested while doing this.
Glad you're back, but I'm not gonna listen 'til I see The Beguiled next weekend...
@Peggy Sue: Say more about this flash fiction you're writing.
@Melina: Thank you! I know I'm often the vintner of sour grapes on this podcast, especially regarding this genre of movie, but I really did want to like this movie better. I've felt self-conscious about the bad taste it left, so I appreciate hearing I'm not alone.
I discovered that itunes was not working properly on my computer thanks to this podcast. The podcast started for me right around the time Nathaniel says 'I hate Nicole Kidman!' And I was like WTF, something is wrong! So I checked and yes, my itunes was on the blink and I fixed it.
So thanks for the podcast Nathaniel, Joe and Nick, and also thanks for the inadvertent IT help :)
@Ez: You're welcome! We're pretty full-service.
