"Ratatouille" is 10. What would you have Remy cook for you?

Pixar's genius "anyone can cook" classic Ratatouille turned 10 years old today. It's aging well and one thing it very much has going for it is that it's unlikely to ever have a sequel. That's a very good thing in so many ways today since too many great films are ruined by the need to "follow them up" or provide backstories by way of prequels.
In its honor two questions for you:
1. Everyone loves the title scene where Anton the critic remembers his childhood but what's your second favorite scene?
2. What perfectly cooked dish would send you back to a bliss-inducing memory?

My second favorite scene is where Remy cooks the soup and make it better.
As for your second question... man.... the food at Piccadilly Cafeteria which I've recently gone back to in recent weeks as I haven't eaten at that place for years and it's still hanging in there.
Pixar's best. Such a rich film.
1. Second best scene is Remy trying to convince his brother to savor the food and not just swallow it whole (Metaphor!) But also that streetside confrontation between Remy and his father. The animation, the sound, the voice acting, they all make you feel and experience all the emotions.
2. My mom's spaghetti and meatballs. Even thinking of it now takes me back to my childhood.
My second favourite Pixar after Wall-E. I feel it is sorely underrated in their canon. Beautiful, warm and tonnes of fun.
Love this movie! Still watch it when it comes on the movie channels...
1. Second favorite scene is the one where all the rats in the kitchen hide when a human comes in, esp the ones in the black floor tiles. Always makes me laugh.
2. Over-cooked Hamburger Helper (she was a working single mom).
1. Remy looking at the eiffel tower out the apartment window with the tv playing in the background. "Why here, why now..." that scene was beautiful.
2. A felafel shawarma I used to have as a kid in Dubai. Delicious.

There's a lot to love, but I'm always moved by Anton's review: The world is often unkind to new talent...
I think there are a lot of slow-cooked meals that bring me back to childhood: spaghettis, stews, tuna casseroles...
My favorite animated film of all time. Took me a long time to say it but there's no doubt anymore. A masterpiece.
1. Remy running through pipes, over rooftops, through homes on his way to Gusteau's. Actually any scene involving Gusteau. No wait, Collette introducing Linguine to the other members of the kitchen. Ah hell, there's just too many.
2. My Mom used to make something she called scrambled hot dogs (we were really poor). Basically it was a deconstructed chili dog - sliced wieners with canned chili over a slice of bread. I think there could have been some love in the dish too.
I adore this movie - my favorite from Pixar, and my #1 the year it came out. That said, #1 is really hard to answer! I'd have to watch it again.
As for 2, the best candidates are dishes my mom still makes when I visit for dinner. But she hasn't made one of them in a while, partly because I'm trying to give up red meat. It's a variation on egg fu young - ground beef mixed with egg, a little flour, and green onions, shaped into little patties and stir-fried in a pan. So simple, but so delicious.
