Damn straight!

Our grandparents shot, bombed, and killed Nazis in their day. Running them out of town and shaming on Twitter is, historically-speaking, an act of mercy, and it's far more than they deserve.

I´m speechless. I hope that peace and love prevail over hate, racism, misoginy and homophobia.

I think you should be careful in this arena, some people do find it offensive to use Nazi symbolism for humour no matter how skewed the world seems.

August 14, 2017 | Unregistered Commentermarkgordonuk

markgordonuk - I don't think this was an attempt at humor. I think - like most decent caring people do - that the Nazi flag and everything it represents does not belong in the world today. And therefore it MUST be ripped to shreds. And all those white supremacists who stand behind the Nazi flag and / or the confederate flag don't belong in decent society.

Maybe I took it as humour, that's what i'm saying everyone has a different reaction.I don't support any form of terror on either side.

August 14, 2017 | Unregistered Commentermarkgordonuk

I definitely did not intend this as humor. I'm furious. Our society and American values are rapidly being dismantled with this fucking administration in power.

Nathaniel, Trump is not the cause. He is the consequence. Or he would never have been elected to begin with.

Nothing wrong with using humor to fight hate- and who are you going to offend the political correct gestapo?

August 14, 2017 | Unregistered Commenterjaragon

Amen.

How is showing a Nazi flag being ripped in half humorous? I can't think of many things less funny.

Amen.

If you think this image (and posting it in response to what's been happening) is humorous... then I got nothing.

August 14, 2017 | Unregistered CommenterRyan T.

The same person who thinks this image is "humorous" is the same person who doesn't "support any form of terror on either side." Pathetic.

Maybe it's a British way of thinking, amazing how people quickly gang up on others,I did not offend any other users here, just misunderstood the sentiment behind a post, sometimes the most so claimed liberal can turn on others, just saying.

Support the posting of the Nazi flag being torn up 100%. A 1000%.

@markgordonuk

Not going to dogpile you. I have a genuine question. Since you're commenting on the site, that indicates...some familiarity with the site's host. What about anything he's said or expressed makes you this post would ever be intended as humorous? Genuinely asking. What's a situation in your mind where someone would post this, after events like those of this past weekend with the intended tone being humorous?

August 14, 2017 | Unregistered CommenterKieran Scarlett

Maybe i'm mistaken in using the word "humour" but I thought the The Sound of Music movie referencing as trivialising an event but I am obviously in the minority.

Any matter like this past weekend or the gunning down of nightclubbers or gay people or innocent families is not something i'll ever understand on both sides.

It's been reported in the UK President Trump has now acknowledged and condemned these actions.
