I can't imagine Kristen Stewart doing such a basic spread post-Twilight, certainly post-Clouds of Sils Maria/Personal Shopper.
In 2008 who would've thought would turn the best actress of the lot, eh? (well except Anne Thompson, an early apologist).
Amanda Seyfried's career has not taken off as expected, not after her scene stealing Karen in Mean Girls, not after blockbuster madness in Mamma Mia! or oscar season with Les Miz. Bummer!
so innocent and so white!
Is that Amanda I thought it was Kate Hudson,Stewart's the one who'll be around for a while,Lively has Ryan to thank for the upswing in her career,i've no idea who that other woman is.
Speak for yourself.
markgordonuk, that's Emma Roberts.
Who?
@mark
Ryan Reynolds had flop after flop prior to Deadpool. He's even acknowledged that he was given so many chances because he's a white male. Neither recent movies like Life or Hitman's Bodyguard haven't really done that well. I'm confused how anyone would owe their success to someone who isn't even that successful himself. Lively' career going better than anyone expected is all thanks to her doing.
@Jess
Hitman's Bodyguard has actually done well. It opened to over 20 million dollars last weekend.
I wouldn't give Reynold's TOO much credit though, because Samuel L. Jackson is a household name, and in the right project, is a major draw (I'd say Jackson is a better draw than Reynolds in general, though he doesn't get as much credit for his drawing power as he 's happy to play more supporting roles than leads just to stay working). Plus the marketing (spoofing Whitney Houston & Kevin Costner's Bodyguard) was appealing to many.
I'd say Life was a more accurate representation of Reynold's as a draw. He had Jake Gyllenhaal as a co-lead, and Gyllenhaal is not an iconic presence like Jackson. And that movie bombed.
Can you imadine a male version of this photo ever published in a magazine?John Boyega, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Dev Patel and Ezra Miller clutching each other in their underwear and open shirts...
Pretty girls!
