Beauty Break: Love in the Tub
Happy Belated Valentines to you and whomever or whatever you love.
Today's Beauty Break is inspired by The Shape of Water which begins with Eliza (Oscar nominated Sally Hawkins) masturbating in the tub and that's also where her fish-man ends up as you can see in this image above.
After the jump please enjoy beautiful photos or film stills of various movie stars in bathtubs...

Can Xavier Dolan direct himself in a nude scene already?
My mind immediately went to Pretty Woman, so glad to see that bathtub scene included here. But where is Fatal Attraction? (Just kidding...sort of.)
I so admire that Guillermo del Toro didn't spare Sally Hawkins' character her sexuality in the Shape of Water. While the masturbation scene certainly was a tone-shifter (-setter?), it's still quite unusual for a period/fantasy film to depict the sexuality of an "innocent" so frankly. Bravo.
I was quite surprised too but twice was too much,I understand the point Mareko made.
Sharon Stone's infamous self-love in SLIVER is missing! ;-)
Bruno in his "Moonlighting" time. So smirky hawt!!!
What and where and why is going on in that photo with Craig Bierko and John Malkovich?!?!?!
So cute. Also, Albert Finney and Jessica Lange in the bath in Big Fish.
Also, la Pfeiffer in What Lies Beneath. And James Garner and Mel Gibson in Maverick.
Than John Malkovich photo is disturbing. Isn’t there a bathing scene in Dangerous Liasons? Maybe it was Uma Thurman?
DAVID- Thought the same thing, SHARON STONE emoting furiously in her bathtub in SLIVER , her character is almost like what if Catherine Trammell had a nervous breakdown and did have feelings. It is a wonderful performance and it is too bad this movie is hated so much for people to remember it.
PLUS- What if XAVIER DOLAN directed STONE, KRUGER & ROBBIE in a powerful psycho-sexual thriller a la "Tom à la ferme" (really something else , by far my favorite Dolan, the darkness draws you in and intrigues you, and the characters are brilliantly acted and engaging.) ?
FYI- SALLY HAWKINS deserves to win just about EVERYTHING for "The Shape of Water" she is absolutely stunning to watch in a wonderfully weird and poetic film. And I say that having watched ALL the five nominated actresses.
