looking forward to listening!
Y'all are so right about Tully. FANTASTIC performances and script. Couldn't have loved it more. So insightful and tough. I saw it over a month ago and think about it almost every day
Looking forward to the Fifties, Nick.
Loved Tully so much. Theron needs to be nominated. If I see a better female performance this year I will eat my shoe.
Nathaniel, you gotta see Let The Sunshine In NOW. It's not fluffy at all. It's very bitter as a matter of fact, but it's a comedy. It's like her whole story could have been a segment of Short Cuts it was directed by a woman? It's funny, vut very very piercing and emotional, and tge ladt ten minutes may be the best of Binoche's whole career. It's a spectacular performance with a beyond spectacular ending. It's weird because I was laughing and findind the whole thing tragic at same time, and by that I don't mean the movie was being sarcastic or ironic. It was deeply humanistic? Best movie of the year so far.
Awesome podcast as always!
