• IMDb top 100 stars of 2021 (by their STARmeter rankings) topped by Elisabeth Olsen (WandaVision). The lsit leans heavily into stars from popular shows or movies like everyone from Bridgerton, Ted Lasso, Mare of Easttown, the MCU, and even the star of Squid Game (though the list is heavy on blonde American women). Surprisingly high ranking for Alexander Skarsgård given that he had a mostly quiet year and Kathleen Turner somehow made the list, too, not that we're complaining as longtime fans.

That new Spider-Man film looks fucking incredible.
Michelle Williams going for that double nomination next year with Peggy Lee and Mrs. Spielberg. If the Belfast ladies get in, I'd say she would be a sure thing for a nomination. That might finally be enough to get her a win (overdue momentum plus two different performances in high profile movies)
Tom G -- it's just sad to me that it's going to take yet another singer biopic to get her a win (sigh)
After Fosse/Verdon, I am fine with Michelle Williams playing all the bio pics she desires. My God, she was brilliant as Gwen Verdon.
Nathaniel- I think she actually has a better chance at supporting actress. Spielberg is talking up Rachel Zegler and now she seems poised for a nomination. I can't imagine him doing less for the woman playing his mother. Her win in that category would be a win for them both. Peggy Lee might just seal the deal. It's too early to see (I have no idea who her competition would be) but for next year she would probably be my #1 pick.
Totally agree that Crazy/Beautiful should’ve been ranked higher - Dunst was Oscar worthy in that.
How blessed we are to have her! I’m happy her career is on the upswing right now (not that it was down, but she did seem very underrated for the longest time and I feel that’s changing). Hopefully many more juicy roles and nominations / wins coming her way!
The Power of the Turner. No, seriously, it's kind of a big deal. She's the only adult in the list.
Kiki's 1999-2000 filmography: Virgin Suicides, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Dick, Bring It On. How many actors would kill for a legacy like that in their career? She did it in one year.
