the real highlight of last night was whoever was in charge of the Golden Globes twitter feed... LOL ... just as messy as the awards themselves!
I don't understand the double standards here,if you're not showing up to make a point why bother acknowledge a group that you are making a point about,oh yeah things change once you win,congrats and everything but please.
I think all four of these actresses would have shown up if there were a ceremony.
I really don't have a lot to say. I'm a tad disappointed with Nicole's win. Though the film was entertaining, all I could think of when she or Javier were on screen was "oh look, here is Nicole playing Lucy" or "oh look, here's Javier...". In my gay chat room, they all think Nicole is awful and I usually stand up for her (and thought she was WONDERFUL in The Hours).
I am underwhelmed by Will Smith. The movie was entertaining but I'm not sure his work is award-worthy.
Are Mass, CODA, French Dispatch and C'mon C'mon ever going to stream?

You can protest actions that offend you. I also believe that means you can leave the door open to restore a relationship when desired change occurs. Further, a strong dispute doesn't mean you abandon common courtesy. A statement of gratitude for a recognition is appropriate.
@rrrrich7 Agree completely,I thought Bardem was the worst i've ever seen him,Simmons was coastarring and Nicole was never once amusing in the film and she playing Lucille Ball.
It was nothing to do with "did she look like her" apart from some of the recreations of the classic bits of the shows I thought she didn't particularly plus she was upstaged in every scene by Nina Arianda who I kept thinking I wish she'd played Lucy.
Can people honestly say that this was the best of the year,Nicole has been fantastic in the past but after Lion I haven't gelled with any of her roles but this isn't an award for the underappreciated or a kick back at naysayers.

I'll be honest, I don't really get the Kidman love (sorry, Nathaniel!). She was...fine. I wouldn't have given it to Stewart, either. Colman acts circles around both of them.
I normally really like Nicole Kidman but her turn as Lucille Ball left me cold. As did the movie itself (actually, the movie generally just irritated me, in that very specific Sorkinesque way). Kidman tried, but failed, I think, to evoke the spirit of Lucille Ball.
So this year we could get our first TWO out queer Oscar winning actresses!?
