Hot off his incredible work in Titane (2021), for which he received numerous accolades including a European Film Award nomination, Vincent Lindon will preside over this year's jury at the Cannes Film Festival. • Director Asghar Farhadi 🇮🇷 He's previously won the Grand Prix (A Hero) and Best Screenplay (The Salesman) at Cannes
• Actress/Director Rebecca Hall 🇺🇸 She starred in Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008) which premiered Out of Competition at Cannes in its year and last year she made an incredible debut behind the camera last season with Passing
• Director Ladj Ly 🇫🇷 He previously won the Jury Prize at Cannes for Les Misérables before that French drama was Oscar-nominated
• Writer/Director Jeff Nichols 🇺🇸 Though he hasn't made a movie in five years now, his second film Take Shelter was a hit at Cannes taking the FIPRESCI prize and the Grand Prize for Critics Week. His films Loving and Mud were both in the Main Competition in their years.
• Actress Deepika Padukone 🇮🇳 This award winning Bollywood star is a regular on Cannes red carpet. Now she's on the jury
• Actress Noomi Rapace 🇸🇪 Her most recent picture, Lamb, played in Un Certain Regard last year
• Writer/Director Joachim Trier 🇳🇴 He's had two films in the Main Competition at Cannes, Louder Than Bombs and last year's Worst Person in the World which took hom the Best Actress prize.
• Actress Jasmine Trinca 🇮🇹 She won Best Actress from the Un Certain Regard section for Fortunata (2017). Her directorial debut, Marcel! arrives this year.

I guess you can say this about the Cannes jury every single year but WOW what a group of talented people. Very happy for Lindon. He got the most complicated role last year.
