Lucas Hedges at 25. Where to next?

by Nathaniel R

A month ago we celebrated Tye Sheridan's 25th to crickets from readers. Today it's Lucas Hedges turn and he bears the notable distinction of being the youngest male actor working to have already been Oscar-nominated (Timothée Chalamet, also a December baby, is a full year older).

If an actor isn't yet famous the quarter century mark is a great time to start landing roles, honing their skills, and finding a breakthrough project. If the actor is already established, chances are they were already a teen or child star; They have easier access to offers but it's much trickier career navigation. by Nathaniel R

KIDMAN4EVA

Today is my birthday. I want no gifts for myself other than subscriptions to keep TFE going (see sidebar -->). Well, that is incorrect. I always want and welcome the gift of great actresses and actor by watching them on the regular. So this morning, a Beauty Break of 20 of my favourite fellow-Geminis who happen to be stupendous working actors. There is a 100% chance I missed someone important but please enjoy these lovely photos...

Happy 25th to Tom Holland

Happy quarter century today to your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, Tom Holland. What do you suppose the next five years of his career holds? It seems like his management is trying to capitalize on the franchise money while also squeezing in indies and voice work to diversify a bit? But while trying to do both at once perhaps they aren't being picky enough about anything. All of his recent projects (Cherry, Chaos Walking, The Devil All The Time, Spies in Disguise, Dolittle, Onward) haven't exactly been bullseyes, either with audiences or critics, and all were fast-fades. Next up: another Spider-Man and the video game adaptation UnchartedIf you were on his management team what would you be suggesting for the next five years?
